This question is for anyone who as added an amp to their G. Where are you tapping in to get the remote turn on wire feed? I am going to be added a 1000W amp and most likely a polk momo or JL sub in a custom fiberglass enclosure I am making. But I first need to know where to get the connections. I plan on tapping into the rear speakers or bose amp for the sound input into my amp.. any suggestions, recomendations? What I really need to know is where to hook up the remote turn on wire. Can I tap into the bose amp remote on wire (if there is one)? Any help would be great. Thanks...

Okay, so some of you, or at least those who replied, are getting the sound to your amp from tapping into the 6x9's. Is this way better then tapping into the sound in on the bose amp? better yet, can you tap into the sound on the bose amp?
As for the remote turn on wire, no one has replied. Where can I tap into to get the 12v required to turn on the amp only when the stereo is on?

Just curious, but when you tap into the rear speakers for sound, isn't some of the sound signals removed by the bose amp. In other words is the bose amp filtering the sound before it sends it to the 6x9's? What I would really like to do is tap into the amp for all my connections. Does anyone know if this is possible, or has anyone done it. Can someone send me some pics of the bose amp in the coupe. Close ups if possible. Thanks.

So you titled your thread such that people would think you have pics of a nicely finished fiberglass sub enclosure when in reality you haven't even picked a sub yet?

That's pretty weak.

Just a ploy to get people to post some help. I actually did choose a sub. I am going with the 10 JL sub.
I also went with a 1000W amp to power it. I was hoping that the viewers of the forum would post some help/ideas on how they connected their amp. I really want to know how to tap into the bose amp.

When I do finish I will post pics. I think it will be one of the best sub enclosures you have seen on the G. I decided to paint it caribbean blue instead or carperting it. I think that will make it look even cooler! Give me a week or so to finish.

I just checked my350z.com, they have a forum section on Audio/video. Here are a couple of threads that might help, although I was not sure if you wanted to use the bose HU or the regular factory HU, or what:
