Some explain rebuilding engines to me

How does it give so much horsepower. What are you replacing?

What kind of numbers do you get on the G35

Can you F/I and do a stroker/rebuild?

Why does it work... etc

It gives you power because when you go FI, you rebuild your engine and lower the compression, and also install stronger parts, which enables the engine to handle higher boost pressure(which means A LOT more stress), which gets you a lot more power in turbo setups. The numbers really depend on turbo sizing, as smaller turbos spool faster but don't get as much power at same PSI as bigger turbos. Yes, you can go FI and do stroke your engine at the same time.

like the person above me said. when you increase power you increase air efficiency and add fuel or you just cram more air and fuel into each cylinder. this will create more stress on your internals (piston, rods, bolts, crank). When people rebuild internals its gona be for FI (turbo/supercharger) or NA (naturally aspired). But both will desire stronger parts or just more efficent parts (Get into that later). this is a very rough chart but cast $, hydro something something cast $$ (stronger then cast), forged $$$ (what everyone wants - why supra engines are so valuable, forged internals). Just think rims.. you'll want a forged rim over a cast.. but forged costs way more of course

k now u know what type of material you wana use.. you'll want to think FI or NA.. For FI you want to LOWER your compresson. usually people would get pistons that are dipped in. This will allow more room in the cylinder.. the more room you have the more boost + fuel. u'll see low compression ratios like 8:1 9:1 think of that as craming 9 bags of crap into a box. with a low compression ratio like that you'll have alot of room for all that air your big turbos gona push in. BUT the down side to that is when you're out of boost you'll make crap for power cause you'll only have that 9 bags of crap in the box.

NA.. you'll want pistons that are domed (opposite of FI pistons) to INCREASE compression ratio.. this way you're craming 15 bags of **** into 1 box (15:1) usually pistions like these will be shapped around the valve.. yep it gets that tight in there..

so depending on what you wana do you'll buy whatever kinda pistons.. then you match that up with rods, rod bolts, and maybe a crankshaft.. BUT make sure you do everything correctly so you're parts wont wear each other down.. keep in mind if you take a plastic board and rub it against a metal board.. the plastic one will wear down first

well hope you understand my half *** explination of engines theres probably a million typos and grammer errors lol its 11:30 am and i woke up at 4am last morning lol. but yeah the purpose is to increase the efficiency of your engine as much as possible.. i think ours stock runs at what 90something %? ideal would be 100%
