I have a 03 coupe and would like to know if there is enough room to put 245/40/18 and 225/40/18 on the car. Tried the net with no help.

What are you trying to do? Since the stock sizes are 225/45 and 245/45/18 front to rear, the sizes you are speaking about will be about 1" smaller in Outer Diameter, and thus will leave a big gap between the fender and the tire.
