Help with front bumper & clear bra.

My 04 coupe likes to get hit by numerous rocks, stones, and anything else.....i want to buy a new oem front bumper, i searched the net and couldnt find anywhere that had the stock bumper prices.....i kno the dealership would tell me but I would like to avoid them.......also when i get the bumper should i clear bra it or buy a normal bra? which one if more affective and cheapest.....

Thanks for the help
Derek

idk about finding an OEM bumper online. definately get the clear bra. the leather bra looks disgustingly nasty and takes away from the overall appearance of the G

Just repaint the front bumper and get a clear bra. That's what I'm doing. I don't know why you would need a new front bumper unless its cracked.

xbuhhx - Where did you get it for $350? The cheapest I have found is $500 with front bumper, half hood and fenders.

$640 for bumper, fenders, hood, mirrors, headlights, door cups, and driver door edge.

Get the new bumper and have it clear braed right away. I paid $410 C. or about $328 US for mine. 3M- Bumper, hood, mirrors.

Check www.xpel.com for kits

Check www.xpel.com for kit prices without installation...(they sell pre-cut kits specific to a particular year/model of car) XPel also uses 3M products -- which are supposedly the best.

Just click around that site - find some installers - and they will give you quotes via e-mail.

I had the clearbra installed on the front fenders, front hood, front headlights, and side mirrors (no front bumper) - and it cost me around $525 (including parts + labor). The guy came to my driveway - and was done in under 2 hours. Beautiful work.

I've done it myself on other cars (a 4-runner, and a BMW 328i) - it's a lot harder to do than it looks! Especially a car with a lot of curves like the G35.

3M is not the best stuff. The guy I go to is the top rated Xpel dealer in Houston ( do a search on 77477 ) and he himself uses recommends ventureshield by Venturetape. Its clearer than 3M, causes less distortion, and has a lifetime warranty ( only 5 for 3M ). Btw he also carries 3M and is 3M certified.
