Nice theft recovery G35 6spd at salvage sale
Nice theft recovery G35 6spd at salvage sale
This isn't really a for sale post(not my car), but I'm sure you guys are always looking for a good deal. I noticed this one at the St. Louis Copart salvage sale listed as a theft recovery
03 Red Coupe
Black leather
6Speed
with brembos and 18's and wing.
Has 17k miles and NO damage, it was a theft recovery.
Car could probably be bought cheap if someone was wanting a car to take to the track or something or just to keep, it looks flawless.
Anyway- Nice stuff like this doesn't come through often so I just had to tell somebody

I've owned a recovered theft Salvage title car here that I bought about 7 years ago.
They reconstruct the title, which makes it legal to register/own/drive.
Anything stolen in MO is an automatic salvage title. if I steal it and drive it down 2 blocks and the owner calls it in it's bought back by the insurance company. Most states salvage cars for theft, Dealers don't want to foot the bill under warranty for damage done while it was stolen(mechanical), and salvage titles void warranty.
And as far as buying the car for parts... thats not a good idea. This carwill probably bring 20 grand or more. Why not buy the car and just have it inspected and drive it and license it. It'll go for 10,000 less than one on a dealer lot and it's virtually the same car! Done right-salvage titles are a lot better investment that buying a regular car. Less initial investment and you lose less money. This car for examply 20k for this one and 30k for one at your local dealer.... Dealer car is worth about 20 in 2 years, drops 10,000(very typical). if the 20k car drops 10k, it's going to sell for 10,000, it'll be worth more than that, probably 13 or so, so you lose LESS money and pay LESS. just make sure it's fixed right.
Anyway- this outta make a nice car for 20,000 if someone here has the resources.
