Re: which gas station???

Sunoco has a 94 octane and Amoco 93. Never had a problem, both work well.

Re: which gas station???

i like sunoco becuase they always seem to be really nice and the people are friendly but i also like BP. I find my self going outa the way to go to one or the other. I like the 94 at sunoco but its really all the same. Though i dont like the smaller gas stations that i dont see to often "mom and pops". I am always worried that they are not giving my 94 its just 87 and there ripping me off. But i am just paranoid. go were ever u like

Re: which gas station???

Just go to a place where alot of people go(no small gas station) because the gas will always be fresh and also make sure never to tank up when the truck is filling up the station.

Re: which gas station???

GO TO MOBIL and use 91 (premium).. no more CITGO gas, Mobil is more expensive but they say "you get what you pay for." Also, there are rumors that CITGO like ARCO gas is mixed from other companies, you never really know what kind of gas your getting...

just my .02

Amoco Ultimite for me......but it has to be DE-OXYGENATED!
Not sure why, but my car runs SO much stronger on that vs. regular oxygenated........

Re: which gas station???

Damn some of those stations you listed I have never even heard of and I've been to many Gas Stations over here in Cali. Don't get ARCO or any company familiar with ARCO. If you go that rought it's like someone sticking there you know what in your tank and pissing... What I get is 76 High 91 Octaine and maybe once a week get "Chevron with Techron" only because it has the Techron which cleans all these nasty deposits in my gas tank (It's been proven). So about 2 to 5 galons of Chevron w/ Techron and 76 High Octain 91 all the way. Occasionally if their isn't a 76 or Chevron around I would get Shell 91 Octaine. Before that I'd normally get Mobil if I'm broke or feel tight on gas money since Mobil is about the cheapest out there; thus, still good quality gas. Just don't go to those "Mom's and Pops" places.

Re: which gas station???

Bummer that you don't have any Chevron's... Only thing I don't like about Chevron is the prices... and that stupid annoying thing that asks if I want a car wash after I swipe my credit card through... Before it used to say if I wanted a receipt and I hit yes and it charged me for a freaken car wash *PISSED ME OFF*... But it's worth it.. Gotta love Techron that is in the gas... That's probably why Chevron is the most expensive Gas Station around here charging as of yesterday when I checked 1.93/gallon. Chevron 15 minutes from my work charges 2.36/gallon for 91 octane, but that's in Malibu... Horrible horrible prices.....

Chevron, Shell or 76 are by far the best gas stations out there…

Re: which gas station???

BP and i think its called Texico are my two top picks... i definitely pick BP over anything else as stated, it is the highest quality/cleanest gas out in the market.

Re: which gas station???

Hey Cali_Eddie,

Most of the stations listed are east coast gas stations. Since I moved from NY to Cali, it sucks because the best you can get out here in Cali is 91. WTF? In NY, you can get 93 or 94 octane. One thing you do have to realize is that when you get a higher octane gasoline, the fuel will burn hotter, but cleaner. I would definitely go with a higher octane fuel... Can't wait to move back to NY... Only 1 more year out here!
