Just bought an 04 coupe 6MT wit 10,000 miles, car runs great, engine is strong, transmission goes into gear smoothly...only thing i notice is noises on 1st to 2nd gear shift. It goes into gear fine, but when letting up the clutch i hear a quick buzzing/grating noise. Only hear it when engaging 2nd gear though. Ive tried letting the clutch out at different speeds, rev matching etc, all same outcome ...

 

Is it grinding? There are a bunch of threads about the synchro issue, common in the 03-40 transmissions. Heres one -

i dont think its that issue, cus it goes into the gate smoothly...its def not grinding though, i know what thats like
its more of just comming up on the clutch while the cars already in gear....
could it be user-error that its a lil tricky to rev match for 2nd gear ?
