In addition to debadging, I would also like to remove the rear license plate (no current front) or any inspection or registration pics. I like a clean looking black G. FYI: there are no stupid stickers on the Bat-Mobile.

So how did it go? Are you using fishing line or floss?
I am thinking of debadging in the spring. It seems the Infiniti lettering will come off easily as I can move them with my fingers now.

Infinity and G35 aren't the same size or text either.
I like it for now but most likely it will all come off except for the logo eventually.

I just love the de-badged look and especially when you pass some clueless motorist and I think "they don't know what hit 'em". I can feel their neck stretching and trying to figure out what car I'm driving.

At first the wife was like "OMG it is an Infiniti and they should stay on there so everyone knows what it is".

Then I debadged anyway and she loves it

I compromised and debadged the front when I went with the NISMO bumper and Gialla insert. Debadged the rear but it needed something after the Data rear spoiler, so I put the 350GT badge on the right and the NISMO on the left. I'm 33 and I've seen an older G driver double-take as if he wasn't sure it was the same car as his (his is an IP '03/'04 w/ 18s, mine is an IP '05 w/ 19s).

Haven't had any bad reactions from kids, but I would expect to get them if I had put the SKYLINE emblem on. IF people ask what it is, I'll tell them or just leave it at 'Nissan makes that! ' , depending on who they are.

I just took off the "G35" and now it has the "shadow" of the lettering. I know I've read something on how to fix this problem, but I cant find it again. Anyone have this problem?

When we lived in Cal I debadged my coupe and for halloween spelled out "D U S T E R" on the back (just for a few days), I got a lot of weird looks. Anyway now much car has only the Infiniti logo.

Rub some compound on there... that should help, if not fully satisfied it will even out in about a week... don't sweat it...

Personally, this is the only debadging I like. But, in response to the topic, my gf thought any debadging at all was 'stupid'

I really liked the cleanliness of no emblems without a spoiler, but I did have someone tell me it looked plain. The emblems flow well with the spoiler. With the blacked-out NISMO rear diffuser going on shortly, I feel good about my emblem choices back there. Nice, subtle and good asthetics. Being IP, it does look better with a splash of color/texture back there than it did shaved smooth.

You really, honestly believe that's what everyone you blow by is thinking? "Man, what just hit me? I gotta strain my neck so I can figure out what kind of baaaaaaaad car that was!" Think again. The average person doesn't care, and if they did, they would already know what kind of car it was that "hit 'em". You people astound me with your arrogance over a slightly-higher-than-the-average priced car. Get over it. The real world doesn't give a flip...
