Has anyone had problems with the 06 coupe and Intelligent key?

Couple of times after I already locked it with the button on the handle, if I try to unlock or lock it again, the button wouldn't work at the same time, the trunk button wouldn't work. I thought maybe it wasn't detecting the intelligent key nearby or it was because of some security timeout that I just pushed the buttons on the handle. Maybe if I waited long enough, it would enable the handle again. But I would have to press the unlock button on the keyless entry to open it instead of waiting.

Any ideas?

 

there's a button in the comparment in front of the passenger seat that has a switch for enabling the opening of the truck using the simple button. Try that. As for my 06', i don't have any problems.

 

the trunk button works fine...its just that time when the intelligent buttons stop responding..some sequence is doing it...

 

maybe you are too close to it?....b/c sometiems im too close to it and it doesnt work

 

It states in the manual that it wont work if you are too close to the door. Stand at an arms length and it should work fine everytime.

 

damn i wish the 05's had the intelligent key

 

usually i am arm distance...i will try again but it has happened twice so far...
