Satellite radio
im gettin mine done on dec 7th by the dealship its for Sirus Sat i went with them bc they have most of the sports and stuff plus Howard Stern which is a huge reason im goin with sirus.
How much does it cost with the instalation?
Is the Sat through the BOSE system better than all the aftermarket ones?
Can 2005 be fitted with the SAT as it no longer has the SAT button?

check out 6mt.net They have a pic howto for installing the tuner in the trunk. If you have the G with the premium(bose) package it alreay comes prewired. All you have to do is install the tuner and run the attena. I will be doing mine in two weeks.
My 04 was prewired for satellite (I believe all 05's are too), so I bought the receiver from Grubbs and installed it myself in about 15 minutes. Then you just call the 800# to Sirius and it activate it. Receiver and antenna were around $320. Since I hate the way the antenna looks on the roof, I just placed the antenna on the rear seat shelf and it works great.
I have an 03 coupe that is prewired. I installed the XM kit from grubbs myself. I went with the micro antenna and placed it in the left front corner of the dash. Installation was ridiculously easy (considering I already had the car torn apart because I was changing the speakers and running line-out cords from the head unit).
After doing it myself and seeing how easy it was, I couldn't imagine paying the dealership to do it. And I would stick with the factory kit so that you can continue to use the steering wheel controls.
