stupid stupid stupid....

Well, I've heard stories and I've seen it happen, and now it has happened to me... A damn plastic bag got stuck to my exhaust... It is only on my Y-pipe though. Everything is stock for now, but I am now looking for a Y-pipe that I can bolt up to my stock cats and stock muff. I did a search and found similar things, but not exactly what im looking for. Thanks!!

If you are looking for a stock y-pipe for your exhaust I do have one available.

oh, sorry. I guess I forgot to mention the part where I wanted to get an aftermarket Y-pipe. I want an aftermarket Y-pipe that bolts to stock cats and muff. Thanks anyway though.

Why do you need to change an exhaust because of a bag? Am I missing something here? I mean if it's the smell, it will eventually burn off, but what's to stop it from happeneing again?

i think he's just trying to make valid excuses to his wife or girl friend so that he can spend more money on this toys this christmas instead of theirs.

you can just scrape it off with a box knife and steel wool if it ever happened
to anyone.

you hit the nail on the head my friend. I know the smell will eventually go away, and i know i could scrape it off, but why not upgrade while ive got a reason. I would go ahead and get a complete system, but im kinda tight on cash untill i get my raise at the begining of the year.
