I have an 03 g35c 6mt with downpipes, mtrdyne spacer (1/2"), z tube, and open filter. It was about 50deg at the track. 14.216@97.9 2.0/60ft
The car felt like it hooked good with 245/45/18 KDW 2's..
Just curious on how this relates to other G's with similar mods!
thanx nate

I have an 05' 6mt and ran a 15.3 @ 97.3 at the last import wars. It was 30 degrees out and the was NO traction. I had a 2.8 60ft with the stock 19" Bridgestones. I was spinning on the 3rd to 4th shift near the line. That was a bit unnerving.

Any way your 60ft seems decent though I think your MPH could be higher. Sounds like you should be able to get into the high 13's with that setup.

Just to compare, on the same night a close friend of mine with an 04 350z ran 13.8@99 2.0 60ft. He has crawford plenum, pop charger, and jwt clutch/flywheel... I really didn't expect him to run that much faster than my G, but was happy for him. You guys think his mods are more effective than mine? Or is the 350z that much lighter?...

has alot to do with track elevation, ambient temp, and many other factors.

Was he running a stock tire? (the 350z). We started running at 10:00am that day, maybe the track got better later in the night. I went up with a friend who has a Civic Si with Type R motor. I know he runs consistent 14.1-14.2. He ran a 14.8 that day. Also the AWD cars were spinning sideways at the line and almost hitting the wall launching.

The were some SRT4's running 13.4-13.5 consistently maybe they were 12 second cars. I don't know, but next time I will definitely bring a set of drag radials to swap over. It was pointless with the stock tires.

I think the wind was going the same direction that u were going.
That is the only way that u can run low 14s with stock autos.
Someone correct me if im wrong.

BTW 2.0 60 foot is the best i think that u can get with Gs. Nice time.

No kidding nice times. The sixty foot especially. If I could get that on my street tires, I'd be hitting 13.9 miminum.
