I've received 2 tickets in the last year in 2 separate states. I was able to go to traffic school to get them both off my record. I have an older Bel detector in my G, but I was driving different cars when I got the tickets. I have a heavy foot, so I've had radar detectors for the past 10 years.

I never got a ticket in a vehicle with a detector.....but you have to know how to use it. They only work when there are other cars on the road that are being monitored. If you're the only car on a long stretch of highway, the cop can zero in on you, and you'll get a ticket.

Also, be aware that detectors are illegal in a couple of states.

Cool

ive got one ticket in my g so far, and i had a radar detector. i was cruizin on the 101 at 4 in the mornin and i just finished racing and m3, he got off the free way and the cop caught me goin 115. luckily i was smart enough to atleast pull the detector off my windsheild and put it on the ground, so i didnt get a ticket for that too(one plus of not hard-wiring the v1). oh and he didnt snag be using his radar detector he just drove behind me and assumed my speed.

but im still racing!
