i had a quick question...after i installed my injen CAI...the trip computer has been readin i average about 17ish mpg. i cruise around 2.5-3k rpms 99% of the time...i'm out of that whole speedin and goin fast stage. i've read that these cars need to have the ecu reset sometimes after u install a mod. what would u guys recommend and whats the best way to reset my ecu?

you can get a TS reflash, but i dont think its worth it if your only mod is CAI

 

i'm really done with mod'in this car.
i just bought the CAI cuz i was bored and decided to buy somethin for my car. i was just wonderin cuz i read somewhere that sometimes mods wont really make a diff or make it worst until u reset yur ecu on the g's.

You can always disconnect your battery for several hours and it will reset it as well (others have said for 12 hours, I don't know why 12).

 

The ECU will gradually learn the new mods, but you can do a pedal method or battery disconnect for a quicker effect..
