When I went to go see a 2006 Coupe I saw that the rear assist button was located on the back of the passenger side seat, it's right in the center, when you press it, voila! The seat moves forward, pretty neat feature. I'm not sure if there's one on the drivers seat, b/c the salesman only showed me the one on the passenger side.

Rattle

I have '04 and the only thing that rattles is the rear view mirror. It is fixable, so if I don't fix it, I'll tell my dealer to do so, or order me a new mirror.

I have 04 6MT with 9500 miles on. No rattles so fast. One time I thought I had rattles, but it was the seat belt knocking on the passenger side!!!

My 04 has rear assist on both seats...only difference is that the passenger seat has a lever on the back of the seat so the person in back can activate it. drivers side, you have to lift up on the usual seat lever on the side. But, both seats move forward automatically.

I only have slight rattle in rear view mirror. I think my dealership did a half-*** job on fixing it as there is a TSB on it. I'm gonna take it in again some other time. Other than that, my 03.5 coupe is rattle free.

I have my 6MT since March 03. Two initial rattles: the rear view mirror and the shelf behind the rear seats. Had those fixed under warranty - No rattle since.

My 03 has low miles but no rattles. I found that the rear seatbelt male connectors can rattle against the side and make quite a noise. This was an easy fix and one to consider if you hear rattling from that rear seat area of your car.
