If it was cheap I'd get one as a beater bumper. I already have the Nismo and Topsecret =/

Likewise, I already have the NISMO and I'm happy with it, but for a cheaper replacement this would be given serious consideration.

I like the way it looks. It would have to be top-notch fit for reduced prep-time in order to warrant a $600+ price (under $650). If it takes more than $300 for prep/paint/instal., it wouldn't look like such a great deal to me.

I would definately buy it, but would I pay as much for that as I would say a Greddy bumper? No.

FYI, molds tend to cost around $1500-2000.00 depending on the material (fiberglass/urethane), plus the production cost.. Typically a fiberglass bumper would cost around $120-150.00 to make and then it gets marked up from there, you can figure another $100-200.00 for urethane pieces.

A good friend of mine works for www.aerotrends.com, that's their specialty; I won't ever try to do a custom front bumper again, it's way way way too much work.

I would pay up to $500. But if it's more than that, forget it.

Just to add my $.02

From what I have been reading on this bumper, it is a stock bumper that has been modified. If this is true, fitment will be dead on ***** accurate! Now its made of ureathane not fiberglass which can easily crack and need constant repair.

Authentic Top Secret Bumper or even KS bumper which all "FIT PERFECT OUT OF THE BOX"........well I have seen both out of the box and they are not perfect fits out of the box and maybe only 99% perfect once tweaked. Both of these fiberglass bumpers would retail for over $900 (unprepped).

I think everyone is underestimating their values for this bumper. If it is indeed stock, fitment will be perfect, it won't crack as easily as fiberglass, etc. I think the stock bumper alone retails for around $300 or so unpainted...so tack on labor or mold costs, I can easily see this piece fetching $600.

Now if the design is what people find flaws in, then beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but keep in mind that when the KS came out.....everyone trashed it.....now every other G has it! JK LOL

I am not for or against the design... I think it's different and a great idea. I could live with it, but it doesn't make me jump for joy.

I think people should just look at it sensibly as opposed to throwing out numbers.
