hello all i wanted to know does the 06 front bumper fit the 05 model coupe. Becasue i love it compared to the 05, and where can i get. and do they come painbted from the factory? like the splash guards.

I think he means that it is not painted from the factory. I was under the understanding that the 2006 coupe bumper WOULD fit on a 2003-2005 model year G35 coupe.

Can anyone confirm this?

 

I want to know i was about replace mine on my 04 as i had a fight with a pice of rebar and it beat me

 

Well I just did a search and found an 06 oem bumper and it says it's for 03-06 if that helps any. check it out.

^^^hmm if you look at the diagram it shows the front chin spoiler as a separate part so i think thats the old bumper
but can someone confirm this...200 something is amazing for a new front 06 bumper. i'd get myself one.

 

I don't see why it wouldn't fit, other than some possible relocation of the mounting holes.

 

It will fit cuz the 06 base models still have the 05 bumpers. They wont change mounting holes etc between base and sport tuned suspension models.

 

Just curious - has anyone 03-05 put an 06 sport bumper on their car? I called my nearest dealer and they couldn't find a part that had the new style 1-piece bumper...

 

i wonder if aftermarket front lips would fit the new 06 bumper. I think that they would.

i think thats the bumper cover?

 

the '05 non-sport bumpers have the same part # as the '03-'05 and i really don't see a difference in the mounting holes for the sport front bumper. i hope this helps

 

I'll find out next week. My car is going into the shop to have the bumper replaced from a minor scrape across it from an F-150. I already told them I wanted the '06 bumper on instead of an '03. The cost is the same, and I just had to check and see if it would match up. From what I was told it will. So we'll see soon.

The cost is the same for an '03, but they'll want another $360 if you want the aero kit (aka OEM front lip) on it. I hope the '06 works out. I had a fight with a curb this week and the curb won, so I'm in the same boat. Keep us posted, please!!
