first oil change

the dealership needs at least 9 days notice to make an appointment for an oil change. my car now has 3500 miles. obvious in 9 days it will probably be 4000 miles. what should I do?

Another 500 miles will not kill your car. It will be okay to wait. If you're still worried, take it to another dealer, a shop, or do it yourself.

What kind of sucky dealer is that? Most dealers have same day service without appointment for something that simple and routine. Take it to another dealer.
