Looks great man. Does it sound better than the stock exhaust? The stock exhaust purrs so nicely.

 

i'll be honest, the stock exhaust does sound great and has that low deep gurgle. The borla is not much louder, sounds pretty much the same but a little more aggresive however that gurgle is almost gone now. With the little driving i've done since i got it i can feel some increased power as indicated by how much faster i was going thru the rpm band

Overall how satiffied are you with the new exhaust? I have teh borla on order through teh group buy and one of the main reasons that I got it was for the sound. When you get on it is it noticable that it's there, doest it sound a lot better than stock. The main problem is that stock sounds pretty damn good and I'm worried that the sound difference won't be worth the money that I am about to put into it.

And how is the gurgle almost gone? I would hope that it would still be there but a little louder. I just hope that the exhaust is worth the loot otherwise I might just sell it, save up a little more and get something different.

Does any body know where I can get a sound clip of the borla on a g35c?

no i didnt get it from the group buy,
i've only had it on for less than a day but the sound is almost like stock, its not loud or annoying and u cant hear from miles away, so far i'm happy with the little driving that i've done, the other good thing is that it looks stock too.

i'll try to get a clip up somehow but my digital camera doesn't have sound. i'll see what i can do.

just came back from a quick spin,
the car sounds deeper and its slightly louder but its got the same note as the stock exhaust. It sounds like the bigger badder brother of the stock system.
now if i could only get some way to post a sound clip

Do you have a laptop computer? If you do, you can use that to record a sound clip...

Why do you need a laptop to record a sound clip? I bring my desktop computer everywhere sometimes. One time when I was sick I set my desktop up so I can play Counter-Strike in the bathtub. It was sweet! [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

It seems like the exhaust tips are a little wider as well? Are they wider, or are they the same stock exhaust tips?
