BTW, it's been totaled out by GEICO.

Details: (readers digest version)

* I was driving to work at 5:15am Tuesday morning
* It had rained the night before
* Roads were wet
* I was going around a 270 degree on ramp to the highway
* As I was merging into traffic (luckily at 5:15 there is no traffic) I looked over my left shoulder to make sure it was clear to merge
* I hit what I thought was a tree... (it was actually a piece of wood 3 or 4" thick by 18" by 24" approx) with my right front tire
* The wood stopped the front of my car and whipped the back end around clockwise
* My front bumper hit a guard rail
* Car spun around
* Back bumper hit the guard rail
* frame bent = car totaled.

I got out and saw car parts and big wood splinters all over the road.

The End

That sucks. FL roads sure seem to have a lot of debris- saw a gigantic wood post laying in the middle of I-275 in St Petersburg yesterday. Best of luck with your new G and glad to hear you're OK.

Shame to see such a beautiful G like that. The bottom line is that everyone involved walked away with no harm. I am sure we will see you in another G soon enough. Best of luck.

Yeah, I've been hearing a lot of that lately. From nipples on the tail lights to last model year of production...

I can get a new G35 for $500 over invoice and I should be getting a GOOD chunk of change from my insurance company to boot. Plus I have a ton of mods that I can add onto the new G35, INCLUDING THE BREMBOS off of my totaled car (the adjustor is being super cool about that). Plus I drive my 3 and 5 year old kids around every afternoon and I want a SAFE and RELIABLE car to tote them around in.

I haven't bought a new G yet, but I've got a line on a 2006 6MT Coupe, Liquid Platinum, Graphite, Premium, Aero, Nav for $36,200 + TTT

Decisions, decisions...

Damn Neff. Im sorry to hear about that man. Sounds like you walked out unharmed which is the most important part. Are your wheels salvagable? Are they letting you take any of your mods other than your brakes?

Any mod that I can take off is mine.

Also, I was going 45mph at the time of the accident.
