Matching Rims with Lakeshore Slate

Hey guys, I'm buying wheels for my car soon. I've decided on the Volk SF challengs, 19x8.5 and 19x10. Only dilemma I'm having is trying to match the color of the wheels with my car. I drive the lakeshore slate color. I want the Black SF challenges, but some people think that Graphite will be a better match. What do you guys think? Anyone have pics with the lakeshore with wheels?? Any help would be great! Thanks guys!

Lakeshore slate is more of a classy color, rather than a sporty color like, DG, Black, Red, or Silver. Id say silver wheels would look best on LS, but if you really want darker looking wheels, id say you stay with black, LS would not go good at all with a gunmetal color. With black, you can atleast match em with dark window tint and the polished lip would match nicely with your grill and emblems.

Just my 2 cents, I would have to agree that silver would be best with LS

Lakeshore Slate is def my fav color of all the G's. I'd say stay away from black or gunmetal. I'd stick with a nice silver, or polished.

thx for the replies guys! I'm still in a dillema tho. I've seen the LS with the volk SF challenges in mercury silver and it really didn't match well at all. I can see how the gunmetal will probably not work either... so I guess black? ahh.. I guess Ill try a photoshop and check it out

here are recent pixs. it might give you a little idea on how blue and Gm would go.

i am thinking about getting black sf challneges as well. a CB coupe might be abe to pull it off. LS wont be able to cause its a classier color.
