My salesman told me that my G35 could easily break the 5 million mile mark, even before replacing oil!!

I'd say 200K.... cause anymore miles means I want a new car!

200 to300k if properly maintained. My old 1990 nissan maxima is still running (gave it to a friend 6 years ago) and it has 280k on it. We have a 1994 maxima that my wife uses when it snows and it has 186k on it. Neither of these cars have had any motor or trans. As a matter of fact the 1990 max still has the original igination wires.

I plan on trading/selling before the warranty is up. I'd rather have steady payments and no repairs than a surpise at a bad time. And I really like the (toxic) new car smell

well my old maxima has the a vq motor (3.0) and it has 120k+ and i think that thing will run forever!!! i honestly must say that i abuse it really bad, i would care if the wheels fell off!!!! that thing runs like a champ!! although i think the cars trans is stating to get a lil rough coming out of first (auto).... it will run forever!!!

^^ I too has 3.0 vq Max (2K) My brother has it now, and the mileage is 150k+ . Except for a bad MAF sensor at 30k something miles. It has been very reliable. IMO the vq 3.5 will last a very long time when properly maintained.

I think the motor and trans will last but everything with a motor like the seats, windows, etc. will go. I think the windows and motors are bad designs to begin with.
