how many miles can G35 coupe last?

what is your guess?

150k?
200k?

without putting money into major fixes. like new engine and tranny

I currently putting a lot of highway miles into my G, about 150miles/day

I am guess it will probably last me about 5-6 years.

With a little luck and proper care, there's no reason that a G shouldn't last 2-300k or more b4 major repairs.
Certainly long distance trips has a major bearing on longevity

I agree. Most Infiniti engines are good for at least 200K miles before a rebuild.

haha well, it will depend on how hard it is driven and how well it is maintained (oil/transmission fluid changes etc)..but they could probably last about 300k.

my opinion only but .....

i believe most newer auto's capable of extreme hi mileage.
just sold a base model 1990 Q45 with 175,000 miles and strong non oil burninig engine. Currently still have (along w/ my new coupe) a 1991 Bronco Nite I bought new. 180,000 miles and runs as good as day I bought it w/ new tranny at 160,000 as only major repair. Just change the oil and filter and they'll all go 250K .....some lot's more!

yea, i used to own a 96 I30, which i loved(r.i.p due to some dumbsh** hit and run driver). I had about 150k on it, and everytime I started her up, it was purrin like day one; thats what made me want an infiniti all over again. however, it seemed like the overall build quality had more integrity on my old I30, and the bose system was way better. The g is stil way better, but i can tell theyre cuttin corners these days to cut cost or whatnot. The g will probably go to 250k w/o a problem, as for the 6mt trannys i dunno how long they will hold up.

I'd say if it was well-maintained with oil changes and regular maintanence 200-300k.
