1/2 you will gain at 6000k and up but looses at other (can't use the engine cover)

5/16 you gain at 4000k and can use the engine cover.

1/2"md

I've got the 1/2"md on my 04 sedan with no engine cover problems. It was an excellent mod and I haven't done a dyno prior or post, but can say it feels quite nice! Good luck!

If you wanna sell just the Iso Thermal kit(I already have a spacer from long time ago), I'm interested. PM me if you are interested in selling just Iso thermal kit.

You can't use engine cover with 1/2" spacer from what I know. Does anyone know why MD changed 3/8" spacer to 5/16"? I have 3/8" but I haven't installed it yet(shame on me because it's been sitting in my garage since March)

They don't lose power anywhere in the curve. Different spacers gain power differently, but there is never a loss.

Tony, do you have a few before/after Dyno graphs of the 5/16" and 1/2" spacers for 03/04 Coupe. I went to your website and it says "under contruction" when I click the Dyno tab.

I'll get that link working very shortly. And yes, it will have the 1/2" and 5/16" spacers.

Hydrazine, I was wondering why you guys replaced 3/8" spacer with 5/16" spacer?

To make room for the Iso Thermal.

The Iso Thermal gasket is 1/16" thick. Add that to the 5/16" and you get 3/8".

So the total heigth is the same but now the plenum runs cooler. It makes a good trade.

Thanks... Does the engine cover fit with Iso Thermal and 3/8" spacer?? Would they work fine together?
