Brake, Slip, and VDC lights all coming on at the same time!

Need your help, my car has about 100miles left on the warranty and all of the sudden the Brake, Slip, and VDC lights are coming on all at the same time. I had seen where there may be a service bulletin about this, but all of the links are outdated. It does not happen all of the time and seems to happen on cold days more than anything. If I turn the car off and then start it again they reset. Then they may come back on or stay off till the next day. Help would be appreciated.

Bring it to the dealersip, have them read the code and document it on your service record.

I ran into this problem. It's most likely that your throttle body went bad. I had this part replaced by the dealership; it will be covered under the warranty.

When you pull VDC fuse, all the same lights come on. Electrical problems?

You have got a bad sensor, I believe is a brake sensor. I had the same problem, took it to the dealer and got it fixed. Be aware that you ABS may not work and neither will the VDC.

how are your brakes? Most likely low brake fluid code which means your pads are low.

Throttle body will probably have to be replaced. The sensor is built in and cannot be changed separately. This has been documented a lot on this forum now actually - mostly new cars with less than 20,000 miles.

Happened to me.

same here, 05 6mt with 7000miles vdc, slip, abs all on mostly at cruise around 65 mph steady for 5 mins. and all the light comes on. and then there will be no power gain if i step on the gas more than 1/4 to wide open. it just sucking in air and no power or rpm gain. will have the dealer look at.

brake

it will probably be that your brake fluid is low. Fill it up to the part where the top and bottom seam together. That way when you replace your pads it wont overflow. I had the same thing come on the other day. When i saw the fluid was close to the sensor in the resevoir i figured that might be it. Added fluid and no more lights. Mine would do it backing out the drive, hard corners, and stop and go. That led me to look at the fluid level. I have 8k miles and track often. I have my new hawk hps ready to go on after the first couple of sessions at houstons new road course on the 21st. I hope the fluid level is your problem as well, so you dont have to mess with dealerships.

Same issue

I just started having the same issue. When the car is cold, all 3 lights are coming on, after some warm up driving, I turn off the car, then turn it back on it gone. It seems to be happening everyday now. Guess I'll have to get it looked at.
