i doubt i'll get back what i owe the bank so im sure i'll still take a hit if i sell my self. 5k doesnt sound too bad but someone with more expertise can chime in and give me some advice.... please ......WHY G35DRIVER? WHY!!!!

The only possible way that you'll ONLY pay 5k is if you trade in a fully loaded coupe for one w/o any options. He's just lowballing you to get you in the door. Used 03 coupes are only worth in the low 20s right now for trade-ins.

I had my G in for service and they gave me a G awd with an AT. I liked it for about five minutes and then I reached the same conclusion as you did. It's boring to dive an AT. Although maybe an AT with paddles would be a good compromise for those who live in the city.

jimmy, if ur g is a daily driven car then maybe u should keep it for a while longer. im not sure but u may regret trading in for a 6MT becuase of all that traffic and hills.

Man $5k is a lot of money, what would you rather have? a brand new 06 6mt or a 05 AT thats boosted?

im not planning to boost anytime soon... it sounds like a big hassle and alot of headaches... the only way i'll do it is if i get a waaay better job and have a bunch of left over money to dump on fixing the car when something goes wrong and for tuning...... i rather take that 5k and get some coils, sways, kit, and a new paint job. im really giving it much thaught and like the guys above said...a 5at would probably be best for me since i live in the city and deal with traffic all day. ...but a 6mt sounds so fun .....aww man my brain hurts i'll be back later

last night i decided that im going to sell my car. I already have a buyer whos going to pay off my loan. Im planning to do it right this time...meaning i will save for almost a year wich will be 10k for a downpayment and an extra 10K for mods when i get the car. Now im im trying to decide if i should get a 04 6mt or something else...what do you guys think? its between a 97 supra, m3 (wich means id use the 20k for a down instead of half) any suggestions on other cars?

haha I did this too. I had my 04 5AT for a year then traded it for an 05 6MT. Best money I ever spent!
