hate to tell you but they'll squeeze every penny out of you. In the mean time post your car on Craigslist.com which I think even better than auto trader and it's free. Good choice and good luck

go to edmunds.com and then search for "real trade in value." go to the forum and post a question in the required format. an expertise appraiser will estimate a price.
You will most likely lose money on the car. Why would the dealer let you drive away with a brand new car without paying any money? Maybe you car is fully loaded, there's a slim to none chance. gl.
what yr is your car?

If you have money to burn go for it... The only way to get a clean trade is to have the owner of the dealer do you a huge personal favor. Keep in mind all the taxes and fees you have already paid..

Never trade! Selling it if you are still making payments on it is a hassle but worth the hassle.
NEVER EVER, EVER TRADE IN ON A NEW VEHICLE! Especially if you're in L.A...at least you don't have to worry about there being no one to buy your car because there's snow on the ground! Sell it yourself!
