new rear diff what oil to use

hey yall just got my new diff. its an 04 6mt lsd,i know somewhere on this forum i read that 03 and 04 diffs were lsd,but newer where vlsd.i heard that the vlsd is non serviceable for fluid change due to its sealed, but gear oil still can be changed, question is do you still need an additive with old style and how about synthetic gear oil.whataya think.

It was recommended to me to brake in the rear gears first b4 adding synthetic. (couple thousand miles).
After that, I'd go with Royal Purple, or Motul.
