Rear Differential help needed

Hey guys,
Wanted to find out if anyone on here knows if the base 350z 6MTrear differential is the same as 2005 5AT diff?

Reason why i am asking is i have a 5AT vlsd dif and i am going to do a 3.9FD change and putting in a quaife lsd as well. I have a spare 6MT diff from a g35 but i think the quife lsd will not fit into it properly since it requires base model diff. Does anyone know if they are same size ?

Also will the VDC still work with a base 350z diff?

please help thanks

Thumbs up

If the Quaife differential you have is for a 5 speed automatic. Why not put it in a 5 speed automatic. You'll still get better performance.

the diff i have is the QDF11L which is for the base model Z open dif.
I have a dif from a manual 6MT VLSD that it needs to go into. I can not upgrade automatic dif to a 3.9 gear since they do not make ring gear for that dif.

Therefor i have no choice but to mod a 6MT vlsd dif.
