hit 6k rpm on new car

I accidently hit the gas while in Neutral and rev the engine up to 6k rpm today, with only 1160km or 725mi. I'm a little paranoid and worried, how much will it hurt my car? And in what way??

Thanks for the insight guys

AHAHA, None at all man, don't worry about things like that.
I did alot of digging around before I got my car about "breaking the engine in" and realized that the piston rings are more than likely already set from the factory, therefore (IMO) the engine itself needs no break in period.
However.... it seems the tranny is a different story, it takes a few hundred miles to get to feeling right.
I hit around 7,200 with less than 500 on mine, no problems and i'm almost at 700.

But really, don't worry about it, if by some fluke your engine explodes, it's all under warranty.

Wait till you step on the gas to merge into traffic, etc., and you forgot you had it in the manumatic mode .Thank goodness for the rev limiter. I would bet it has happened to ealmost everybody here .

You're better than mine..
My G was on 600mil,
Some dude tick me up with CIVIC, so I raced...
I kissed redline about 4times in purpose bc I didn want to lose.
After that day, I asked infiniti service manager, and he said it's no big deal.

It's just fine. Don't worry about it!
Just drive safe bro~
