if they proved it caused the reason you're there for warranty work.

Anytime you install a mod it is up to the discretion of a warranty manager to potentially void your warranty or refuse to perform certain work, which might have been covered under the said.

Alright, maybe I should restate my question since that answer could be given for any mod. What are the chances of MREV voiding your factory warranty?

Dealer has a fair bit of discretion. If you can build a rapport with a local mod friendly dealer it would help.
I only have one dealer within 800 miles and they are not so keen on mods. So few people around here do anything.

I am just curious, what is the worst thing that can possibly go wrong with the MREV, what can it do to our cars that is so bad?

By the way, is there a way to get rid of the poll, its useless since I need to rephrase the question....

For myself, I am not worried about it. Is there a possibilty? . . . Yes. Is there a high potential? . . . No, I do not think so.

I think that other mods (cams, cats, headers, pulleys, etc.) have a higher potential of voiding one's warranty. However, dealerships are in the business of making CASHOLA . . . And having said that, they will do anything to avoid performing extra non high profit work.

All of my mods will be easily removed, if there is ever a need, including the MREV.

You know it baby!

Seriously though . . . I would not have installed the MREV, if I thought it had a high potential to create issues down the road.

I took my G in this pass Monday morning for new rear axle bolts and an oil change. I did not have that gorgeous engine cover mounted. I spoke with the service person, whom did the work on my car and he didn't make mention about anything.

Shouldn't we be asking our dealership service managers instead? 200 of us can say "No way they will void warranty" over beer, but we don't call the shots around your local Infiniti service center.
