everytime someone else drives my car, the first thing they ask is "why does it say REV?"

05's had that too. Your dealer should know if you asked them seeing you are lazy to read the manual.

i set my to 8000, cause I dont need some geh blinky light to tell me when to shift..

i've been in that situation many MANY times!! lol at first it was cool to explain it, but after a gazillion times, my usual reply, just look at the cluster and you'll see!! lol

I have a theory

Hi guys, newbiew here but I have a theory about the REV light. If you had an automatic, then the shift position would display in this area (Drive, Reverse, Park etc.) at least thats what I got from reading the manual. So since we have MTs my theory that the light is stuck in REVerse.

Just a theory....
