Question On Wheels

I just got a 04 G coupe about 3 weeks ago. I just got my wheels in today. I got Volk SF Winning 19x8.5 and 19x9.5. The question is does the car have tire sensors in each wheel or is the tire pressure monitor system seperate. I at a Lexus dealership and I know on our cars some have sensors and some go by the vehicle speed sensor. Does anyone know?

Infiniti uses an active monitoring system, so the sensors are in the wheels.

Passive systems uses the ABS sensor, to try to measure the average rolling diameter. They work ok, but they are very slow. In the manual for my other car, it says if your tire is low, it could take anywhere from 5-100 miles to turn on the light, depending on how low the tire is.

According to the Infiniti Service manual, if the tire is low, the light will turn on within a couple seconds. With that being said, I'm not sure if the sensors will be compatible wiht your new rims. They would'nt fit in my Work Meister S2R rims. (At least that's what the installer/store said).
