I use it all of the time. There are a lot of pay parking structures where I live. Whenever I pull a ticket from the machine, I put it up there in the card holder.

If you take it off, you'll have a hole in your headliner.

I use it every time I get onto the NYS thruway. Comes in pretty handy.
Ones persons stupid trinket is another persons handy feature.

Talk to the dealer. Someone said he took his off and replaced it with another grab handle.

I've wondered what the heck this would be used for since the day I noticed it.

I tried all cards I could think of but it seemed crazy to put a plastic parking card up there. Over time the grabbing for the card will create a funky spot on the headliner.

It's not a big deal. It is out of the way and I may use it in the manner that y'all mentioned one day.

Look in our DIY section. There is a thread on how to replace it with a grab handle.

Card Holder - Grab handle

This was one of the first mods I did. The G35 is a right hand drive Nissan Skyline in Japan. As a result, the holes on the left and right side of the vehicle are identical. If you purchase a grab handle from the dealership, it will bolt right in place. You can do the same thing with the keyhole - escrutcheon part too on the exterior of the vehicle. Regards, Bunnone.

That's where I put my water bottle...

I wish my wife's sedan had those.
