Hi everyone. When I bought my 6MT Coupe it had no wing installed. I am one of those freaks that likes the wing so I had one installed. When they did that, they hooked up the third brake light on the wing and disconnected the one that is on the rear shelf.

To make a long story even longer, I bought the OEM Satellite Radio Kit and I want to install the antenna on the rear shelf, right where the now unused third brake light is.

Can anyone please tell me how to remove the unnecessary third brake light or point me to the right place for removal instructions? Will it leave any holes in the shelf itself once removed? If so, would it be better just to try and work around it? Your help is appreciated. Thanks!

there's a sound proofing thread around here somewhere, that talks about removing the rear seat & other parts back there. Check in the interior mods section. I'm going to do this this spring too.

Thanks for the help! You were right, the thing basically pry's up then out, not too much trouble. But it leaves one big damn hole! (Actually a number of not too big holes, but proably 8" X 8" to cover them all. OK, time to work on my fabrication skills...hmmmmm. Ultimately with the satellite antenna there and my dark tint it will be tough to see - I'll figure out something that looks decent. Thanks again!

Just unhook the connection and pop it back on...

That's what I did.
