So I read in the manual that I can turn my key in the door handle lock, and it will auto up/down my windows. But I've tried this on my 2003 coupe, and it won't work. WTF.

 

you have to turn the key and hold it

if you hold it in unlock they will roll down
if you hold it in lock they will roll up
if you hold the unlock button on the factory keyfob they will roll down
if you get the kptechnologies window up module you can hit the lock button twice on the factory keyfob they will then roll up

 

i know on the '06 you can roll the wondows down with the keyfob, but can you roll them up using the remote also?

 

Don't know about the key fob window roll up feature for '06's . . . However, the KP Tech Window Up module is an excellent add-on mod, as Daniel has described.

 

No up with the FOB. Only down.
But you can up and down with the key (if you hold it).

Using the actual key to roll up the windows requires you to hold the key in the lock position for a few seconds. That defeats the purpose of the remote feature(s). It would be quite quicker to roll your windows up from the inside prior to exiting the vehicle. It's just a simple "one touch," from the inside. Why Infiniti did not incorporate the window roll up feature into the key fob locking command is a mystery to me.
