Help, Residual Info Needed.......
Sorry to post without a direct answer to your question, but FWIW, I just traded my 05 Silver 6MT (8700 miles), optioned out MINUS Aero and Nav, and was VERY disappointed at trade in values received from a number of dealers (Infiniti included). They ranged anywhere from $27.5k to $29k. As you guessed, since I was pursuing a trade, dealers were willing to give more for the G, but less off of MSRP of the new vehicle. Anyhow, one dealer told me that NO QUESTION the G is a very nice ride, however, when they are being offered in lease programs for $300 or so a month, it does take a toll on resale.
So, if you think you may want to be out of the G in a year or so, be prepared! Guess this could be said for any vehicle though.
My $0.02.

Just figured there be enough people here with lease experience... I believe the market values are 59-60% after 36mo, 54-55% after 42mo and about 51 after 48 mo. Was just looking for some confirmation on these. These %s are very similar to Acura which I have already confirmed. Anyone who has leased should know this information in order to make sure the lease they are gettingis correctly calculated.
For 36 montht the residuals are:
60% 10,000 mi/yr
59% 12,000 mi/yr
58% 15,000 mi/yr
That's all I've got for ya.
If you need any help with lease calculations, lemme know. Here's a spreadsheet I made that should make your life very easy for leasing an '06: http://www.stanford.edu/~mpg/temp/loan_worksheet.xls
I used it on my laptop while negotiating at the dealer and was able to catch them on a number of things and get their same monthly payments in the end within $1.
