I like how you mounted the extra ballast. Pretty ingenious. And the output must be crazy bright.

EK,
Bravo! Amazing work man. Very impressive. Now all you need to do is LEDize those corner lights

Did you happen to get anywhere with a foreground shield for the lowbeam TSX projector?

That hidplanet shroud actually cuts the immediate beam pattern, so I really don't have much glare from the headilght bezel. There is a small amount that still hits the side, but it's not bad.

There was glare coming from the hidplanet shroud, so I painted a small portion with flat primer gray paint. It's not noticeable unless I look for it.

I got some better shots, but I have to wait until after work today before I can upload them.

Very nice retrofit. It would look better if you lowered the the TL's cutoff a TAD, and raised the TSX's a TAD, so both cutoffs are very defined. Amazing work regardless.

I appreciate the input.

It's a fine line to walk with the aiming. The driver side is currently aimed to how the stock reflectors are.

The TSX projectors are at the upper limit of high at this point. But the passenger TL is clearly too low. The cutoff line hits the pavement about 5 ft in front of the car.

The driver side currently has both cutoffs run parallel to each other when you see them shine on a wall next to the car.

The passenger TL slopes downward relative to the TSX, I want to keep it parallel.

Almost done with work....

Still raining with crappy weather, the car is dirty as heck, but here's some better pics of what's going on.

Low beams only, still a bit of ambient light.

With "fogs" on. Passenger side too low.

Low beams, TL projectors in high beam mode.

damn man, the light output must be insane. Not only do you have one of the best single xenon projectors, you also have one of the best bi-xenon projectors. Cars behind you dont even need to turn their headlights on when they have you in front of them, im sure you light all 4-5 lanes of the highway up like DAYTIME baby lol

lol, thanks. I was trying to make this the last time I worked on my headlights, and over the 3 months, the project got more and more ambitious. At first I just wanted to put a better shroud on my X5 projectors. Eventually it became what you guys see here.

I'm hoping that I'll get those amber bulbs for the signal light this week. Then I'll open up the passenger side again, and raise the TL projector.

I'll post an update when I get around to finishing the X5 projector lights.

kidtronix, those are 350z track rims. I like the car looking OEM, so they fit what I was looking for.

Well im sure he isn't a "professional retrofitter" . Theres things that ive done that I thought I would never be able to even attempt. All it takes is just some *****, some patience and time, and your own creativity. When I get my coupe in march, one of the first things is a retrofit. I have a love for hid's
