Re: Wish you had another color?
The color I'd really want most is one not yet offered. I'd like a nice rich metallic burgundy/red color, something in the neighborhood of the Z's "Brickyard" (but maybe not quite that dark).

If DG hadn't been available, I probably would've liked Laser Red.

Black is always sweet, but having owned 2 other black cars in the past already, there's no way I'll ever have another. Way too much work.

Re: Wish you had another color?
yeah i agreed with you, the carribean blue is da bomb! i am thinking of getting the cb when the 04 comes out, but i heard from a salesperson that cb is erased for 04. is that true? or is the color canceled for the sedan? i apologized if this has been mentioned b4 but the dealer just told me that a few days ago.

Re: Wish you had another color?
yeah.. it's true.. carribean blue is going to be discontinued after this year.. they're releasing the color that's already on the g sedan, twilight blue, for the coupe.. carribean blue is the least produced color for the coupe and it's a limited edition, so i was definitely leaning towards getting that color myself.. but in the end, ivory pearl was the way to go.. i saw one on the road, and man, it looked luxurious and slick..

Re: Wish you had another color?
Ggirl,
I go through that all the time. It was a nightmare when I was sitting down to order the car - and worse, the nightmare lingered for weeks as I called my salesman daily trying to find vehicles sitting at the port, or on other dealer's lots.

I love the look of black... especially with the dark tinted windows, it makes me want to paint the rims black too, and have the baddest lookin' car on the road. But at the present time, I can't garage my car too often, so that blew that out the window. I owned a black Bronco before, and it's just too damned hard to keep it looking good.

I also really liked the Desert Platinum. It changes colors so beautifully depending on the light... like you don't really even know what color it is, and at all times, very classy and unique.

No way would I get the Red. Oh, it looks great... very hot and all, but this car is bad enough when it comes to the cops, having it in red is like asking to be pulled over daily! No thanks.

I love the Blue too... but I dunno, something (maybe it was my wife) said it wasn't the right color for that car. Too "showy" or something.

So I ended up going with the Brilliant Silver - besides any other reason, because that was what came available first.

Re: Wish you had another color?
I wanted either silver or red. Silver was the first available (it was on the lot in 6MT w/o aero), so silver is what I bought. I get people coming up to me all the time telling me how great the car looks, how silver's the perfect color for cars because it hides grime, etc..

I had a black jeep Wrangler that I actually used offroad - with the appalachian pinstripes (scratches), the mud and the rock dings, it looked like crap. I love a black car when it's clean, but I hate having to be the one to clean it all the time.

I'm happy with my choice.. I like the metallic look and I couldn't get that with the red..

Re: Wish you had another color?
I got a black one and the only other color I would consider would be the Desert Platinum. The only problem with the black is the water spots...

Don't forget the swirl marks, dust, dirt, and white primer-dots from rock chips. Black is evil!%!%#@
