Smacked In The Back!!!!!!!!!

Well got rear-ended tonight. Just a few scratches it looks like. I have no clue what other damage there could be though. Any suggestions of things that I should have looked at??

Also does anyone know if it's possible to get a new bumper? I dont like the thought of having this one fixed, some of the plastic is cut in deep.

Damn cops took 2.5 hrs to get the report done!! Thats right the higest paid cops in the country cant write a little report in under 2.5 hrs!!

It sucks, Sh*t happenes. Time to move on and think bodykit maybe.

Re: Smacked In The Back!!!!!!!!!

Few friend of mind got rear ended. I remember looking at the damage their damages and I was like, "did you get rear ended?". To me their were no damage at all. They still reported it to the insurance dealer and got the bumber replaced and paited.

So, if it 100% their fault, I guess you can report it to at least to inspect any internal damage of your bumper for safety reasons.

Re: Smacked In The Back!!!!!!!!!

It's not a lot of damage but the bumper is a little out of shape and scratched up bad. It was totally the other guys fault so I want the car back to completly new. It is only a few months old. Plus the kid had the nerve to tell me that he was told that day that he needed new brakes and decided not to get them. Now he will know why he needs brakes!

The thing that really gets me is that he screwed up my license plate frame..

Re: Smacked In The Back!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about it, I know how you feel. I got hit 6 days after getting my coupe. Definitely call it in and get it taken care of. My bumper didn't have any noticeable damage until I looked closely and it was cracked on the area around the license plate.

Re: Smacked In The Back!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear of your bad luck bro. It's new bumper time for ya.
When they take the old one off, they'll check underneath for any collateral damage.
Since the car is so new, the paint on the new bumper will match ok, and get them to spring for a new licence plate frame too. G/L
