Hate cops! got a ticket need advice

Hi Guys, so im on the way to the dealership down on 101N in los angeles county, bitch cop pulls be over for going 75 when i following the flow of traffic, frickin cars were even passing me in the fast lane. I got a speeding violation and a tint(got 20% all aroung).

The d*ck cop checked non correctable for the tine violation too! which i know can be a correctable one, but its up to the cop. Does this mean i just pay the fine and do no need to take the tint off?

I havent had a ticket in 3 years so i'll traffic school and no points will go on my record.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Tough break, man. Unfortunately, your 20% tints may have been the deciding factor, which the officer used to determine . . . Which speeding vehicle to pull over and cite. That process does not make the officer's decision either right nor wrong. You simply got on the wrong end of a decision. Fortunately, it appears that traffic school is available to you.

Putting 20% on the front windows is pretty dark for CA standards. That is just asking to get pulled over, kind of like tinting the windshield.

The tints you have to take off.....

As far as speeding goes plead not guilty, go to trial, and hope the cop doesn't show up....at least make him inconvenienced to come to court for the ticket he issued you.

i have 20% on my windshield and no problems here in glendale/burbank area. and 5% all around. our cars have fast windows. once i see a black and white i just hit the button and in like 2 seconds its down. you just got to be cautious and fast. use your G's advantage of having fast windows!!! and sorry to hear about the ticket. was he behind you? or just came out of nowhere? usually when there's a cop behind me and "flow" of traffic is 70-75, i just do 65 and put my cruise on so i make him change lanes =D

Is driving with dark windows worth all that hassle??

Getting pulled over by the police is the only reason why I have hesitated in getting my windows tinted. I have been considering only a 50% tint at that. In one of my other cars, I have been pulled over numerous times for window tints. Eventually, I had all of the tinting removed.

Thanks for your input guys. I dont think i will go through the hassle of court with work and school and gf, there is never no time available. lol

Check this out i just got home from the mall, on the way back i pulled up right next to a cop, since i was frickin pissed at em i said f*ck imma keep my windows up, he noticed me and did not even bother pullin me over.

I thought 20 % was good to have since my last maxima i had for 2 years was black with 5% limo tint and never got pulled over.

Just my luck this d!ck prolly jealous of our cars.

Oh by the way i have a song for him .... Bone Thugz "F*ck Police" LOL

Check with the CHP office before you do anything to your tints. On my old accord I got pulled over for 20% tint all around and the CHP officer checked "not correctable". All I did was pay the fine and I didn't take the tints off. I even asked the CHP officer on the phone what to do, and he said to be honest with you, if you are going to try to remove the tints, get it written off, and then put the tint back on, you are better off paying the fine and just leaving the tints on. But the second time around the fine will be much higher.

LOL. So yeah, you just pay the fine and you don't have to touch your tints.

Only a small percentage of cops are assigned to the traffic division. I don't think a cop assigned to some other law enforcement division is going to give you a ticket for tinted windows.

I say yes. I hate it when the SUV/truck behind you (especially GMC) shine right into your eyes.
