Bringing in '04 Coupe for the "creaks" ... tips?

Well, I finally have had it with the endless creaking noise when I go over speed bumps and up driveways (leading with one wheel). I made an appointment over at Tustin Infiniti this Friday.

Before I go in, I was wondering if you guys had any "tips" on what I should tell the service tech when I actually go in. I don't want one of those resolutions, 'Cannot replicate problem,' or "All cars creak and rattle."

I plan on taking a service tech with me on a drive-along to have him actually "hear" the noise but I know how sometimes those don't mean a thing.

You guys have any tips for what I should tell the techs at the dealership when I go in?

Thanks.

Here is a TSB for the sedan. Perhaps its the same problem or will give you an idea on how to describe it to the techs.

yea - don't waste your time - i tried that once and it was a futile effort....i've found most of the creeks and squeeks will subside over time.

avoid the stealership when possible.

Unfortunately, I don't think that that TSB will apply to my situation. The "creaking" noise seems to come from the interior of the body, not the front end. But it does seem to happen from those "twisting" type of situations.

I don't know if this is acceptable or is it just my situation. Does anyone else experience these noises?

I just noticed my 03 coupe doing the same thing i think it's just the way it is also my sunroof make a creaking kind of sound but i think it's coming from the rubber/silicone seal.

Anyone have tips on getting rid of the sunroof noise? Which rubber protectant is the best or what is best for this.

Thanks all

i had the EXACT same problem. Here is the TSB that fixed mine...

ALthough I didn't use that 3M Silicone they recommended, I got some liquid teflon stuff from home depot. Worked like a charm. The interior is completely silent now.
