I was wondering if this kit is worth getting? The price is awsome, with lifetime warranty, and its direct bolt on for all g35 years? Anyone know of any shops that can install this in Los Angeles,CA? Thanks

I know it is to each his own but dayum why would you want to do this to a G? IMO it screams I am a young kid influenced by the Fast and the Furious

The craziest thing is one of the best dealerships in chicago (Fields) has an '06 Coupe with lambo doors and an AEM intake on it's showroom floor. I was talking to the dealers about it and asked them "were you aware that with intake, you can actually lose some power?" and they were like "it's okay, it looks cool on it

I had them on my RSX. I will admit they are alot of fun and get lots of attention but OMG they are annoying to no end. You will have to open the passenger door and close it every time for anyone that rides with you. Have to always worry about the door clipping your side skirts. Unless you are doing a purely show car dont get them.

I can certainly see where they would be a PITA from the aspects you mention. Only more reasons to leave the doors alone.

Wow, this site sure grew lots of haters in the last few years. Ever since F&F came out it seems people developed some code book to define Ricerism. First it's the neon lights, then slammed suspension, spinners, huge spoilers, vinyl graphics, nitros purge, NOS, and it seems vertical doors is another addition to the Ricer Encyclopedia.
Personally I think when properly done, vertical doors look not bad on the G35C's frameless doors. Just make sure you get it from a company that knows what they are doing. With the G35C, you need to make sure you have sufficient front fender clearance and get hydralic to help you lift the door up since the doors on the coupe are very heavy. Another thing is try to get kits that allows you to open the door both horizontally and vertically. Good luck with your search. G354GOD has a nice set of vertical doors, but I havn't seen him around lately.
