How do I remove the rear seatback striker cover(pic included)

If you want to know why i have to remove this, I have to make a hole for the new 6x9 speakers b/c i have the non-bose system.

I cant figure out how to remove it and the service manual does not say much neither.

Thanks

it pops off. I removed mine 2 weeks ago to remove the rear deck to apply foam since I had a rattle.

I dont remember where it hooks but I know that there is a hook on the top of mine that broke a little bit but didn't affect it when I put it back on.

*edit* it shows you where it hooks. Just be careful around those spots.

I did it by hand with a small screwdriver to kind of pop it off.

Good luck!

Looks that way to me too. Carefully pry it with a bladed screwdriver.

Just because there's 115 views and no replies doesn't mean that we're a-holes who don't wanna help. We're just noisy and want to see what you're asking. Hopefully Twitch answered your questions tho
