I have a '04 with 50K on the clock and the only hic-up was the driver window regulator at 10k... Other than that my car is a TANK!

I double checked everything today and as i was going inside my house i noticed my auto switch head light never turned off when it was supposed to. I even pressed locked again and it didnt turn off so im gonna make a appointment and see whats going on. What if they made up some bs saying that it has to do with my AEM CAI or spacer what do i say? Just want to be extra careful about what im gonna say thanks

I've been reading and people have problems like...The car squeeks when you go over a bump or up a ramp, Car oil leakage, the steering wheel's sorta like tighten or something. And someone said that the car didn't start? It's a new car, it shouldn't have that much problem yet. well..Shouldn't have it all since it's a Luxury-sports car.

The question remain...were you able to get it started? or is it still dead? if its dead? you dont need an appointment, just call the tow truck and tow it in, did you get to recharge the battery?

Keep in mind that if the guy encountered the problem a couple of times, that could qualify as it happens a lot in his mind. Also, new batteries go dead typically because the lights are left on. It could be that the guy was just trying to be nice by suggesting it wasn't the driver's fault..

keep this in mind regarding "discharge" problem....

.... My 06 Coupe will automatically turn off the lights in ANY position they are left in. I checked it out by leaving"city lights" turned on an returned in 10 minutes or so ...... sure enough they were off. This was somewhere in my owners manual and I assumed it to be on other model years??????
A great feature for the absent minded (ME!). Heh.

there's a delay in the shut-off. my car does the same thing... it's like 30 seconds or something. tapping the locks twice won't shut off the lights automatically like some other cars. your car is functioning perfectly normal from that stand point.

Keep in mind, the forums would be a pain in the *** if every posted when their car was working perfectly.

MY CAR IS WORKING! You see, I don't think anyone cares. The posts you are going to see are the ones where people need help since, like this. If it makes you feel better we could start a thread where people post every time their car starts.

The good thing about the G is that it doesn't have any consistent failures. Mostly just isolated incidents. This is the first I've heard of a failure to start.
