Dealer won't do TSB b/c of mods..
My pass. side axle made the clicking sound for about a week now. So I made an opp. to take her in today. The service manager just called me and said it's not under warranty any more unless I put back the stock suspension (btw I have Tein Basic coilovers and Stillen sways). I had the feeling the dealer was going to pull that one on me. Anyways, I just wanna ask you guys has this happened to anybody in here regarding the TSB but denied service due to mods?
i agree with what everybody else says. just find the next nearest dealership and try them. my dealership had no problems doing any warranty or TSB work on my car despite any of my mods.

Do a search on the Magnuson Moss Act. They are legally liable for all warrenty issues unless they can prove that the mod caused the failure. Since this is a documented TSB your mods couldn't have caused it.
Thanks for the replies guys. I live in S. Jersey near AC. The next closest Infiniti dealer is about 40-50 miles away and its own by the same guy ( Holman) I 'm sure their system is connected. Basically I am SCREWED
. I gonna try to get my buddy to fix it. Good thing he's an ASE cert. mechanic. I'm just upset at the dealer right now. Who knows how many other owners were denied service cause of mods
. Thanks again guys !

BTW anyone want to help me install the Lock actuator for the driver side?

We've done countless TSB on axles clicking and i must say, the new fix requires a lot of parts (mainly bolts and nuts), the old fix was just to replace the axle boots and such. But yeah, you dealership is full of it, if they will not fix it because of mods that do not affect the problem at all.

Do have the link to the new fix? TIA. This the 2nd time the axle made the clicking sound. They greased it the first time about 2 months ago. I didn't expect it to have the same symtoms again so soon.
To tell the truth, my 2k max with 165k miles is more reliable than the G

Don't let this $hit slide, the more people allow this to happen, the more it will happen.
