Driver Side Seat Noise

I started experiencing some squeaks under my driver seat. Car is 06 coupe with only 1500 miles. Seems like its coming from a spring or cushion. Has anyone experienced like squeaking coming from under the drivers seat? It is happening if I move around in it. I am going to take it to the dealer. Thanks...

lol, if you want them to fix it, they have to disassemble whatever needs to be fixed. They wont "mess" anything up...

I have the same problem on my 03.5 6MT, taking it in this weekend for fixing. I spoke with the dealer and he mentioned it'll be covered under warranty. Was your repair covered under warranty?

i had same problem as well. they replaced a motor, and it felt ok for a while, but the squeak came back after a month. not as bad as the previous one, but i am planning on taking it back again. funny thing is, the seat squeaks only at a certain driving position. (which happens to be what i prefer to have...)

I had a small squeak in the drivers side seat, then it got louder and finally I took it in to the dealer. There is a TSB for the frame rails which were replaced under warranty. Great- squeak went away!

About one month later, squeak came back- I'm not happy. I plan to take it back into the dealership, but why was my Integra more solid feeling than the G35? I drove the Integra up until 200K without any squeaks, rattles or annoyances.

For the number of times I've had to get warranty work done on the G35 and the annoyances which can't be fixed, I should have never left Honda.

My 03 5AT coupe is going in Wed for this problem, but my seat also rocks back and forth slightly. It will be fixed under warranty. Hopefully it won't come back again like some of you have experienced.

My seat rocked slightly too, those are actually the magic words I think.

Originally, I took the car in a couple times to complain about the seat squeak and the dealer said that squeaks aren't covered after 20KM/1 year, then when I took it in and told them the seat was "rocking back & forth and there some play in the seat" they brought up the TSB!

Anyway, I hope it fixes your problems. Let us know.

I got mine back today as well. They had to order a new seat frame/rails for my car so I'm just waiting for the parts to come in.
