Sticky Stuff on Side Skirt

Hey everyone i finally got my 06 blk/blk fully loaded with everything. Well when i first got my car there was this clear sticker that was on both side skirts...it was on the rear.Well i saw it and i was liek wth so i peeled it off and now the rear side skirts on both sides are sticky now. Is there anything that i can use to take it off? You cant really tell on the driver side but on the passager side you can see like a white mark. Man i was so dumb for tearing it off. Well if there is anything u guys can help me on to remove the sticky i really appriete it. dont worry ill post pics pretty soon..these last couple of days i been having a blast driving it around so far 115 miles.

Relax. Some people pull if off, some leave it on. After trying to remove some old, yellowed film on a much older car, I simply didn't want to leave it on until it yellowed (I've got white) and then have an impossible time removing it.

For the remaining residue, use Goo Gone (might be Goo B Gone). Most importantly, use a microfiber or Made-in-the-USA, 100% Cotton towel. Apply Goo Gone to towel and blot over remaining adhesive. Wipe with Goo Gone on towel. Repeat soaking/wiping as needed.

The stuff is safe on your finish, but I still prefer to wash and polish the area afterward. People also use this method to get rid of the advesive left behind after removing their emblems.

If you can't find Goo Gone readily, try WD-40... (it's seemingly everywhere) and a soft cloth... it will not harm the finish, and it's an old biker trick to get rid of road tar and hardend gorp.
