What does this do?

Just found this in an orange plastic bag in the rear compartment of my coupe. Anybody know exactly what it does? two plastic pieces and the instructions?

looks like u can remove the console lid and put in those two pieces.....

btw, where in the rear compartment did you find it?

Thats for when you find the console/ "drivers' armrest" getting in the way of your shifting. You could delete the armrest.

ok-makes sense I guess... It was underneath the lid in the compartment in b/w the rear seats (where the first aid kit usually goes)-Anybody do this?
