1) take your spares off..replace it with a temporarily repair kit
2) change your 100lbs electric seat to racing (bucket) seats
3) take off your back seats
4) replace your drive shaft to a carbon fibre one (not worth the money)
5) replace your battery to a smaller and lighter one and put it at the back for better weight distribution

you should be down to around 3100~3200 lbs by now..
but remember G is an entry luxury sports car, not an entry sports car..
so if you do all of the above, you are simply downgrading your car...

good luck modding

By the way, the rear seats weigh so little it hardly matters.

carbon fiber trunk? somebody makes it but that just offsets the weight distribution even worse

I wouldn't get a CF trunk.. very ugly.. to my opinion

CF hood.. that's very nice! I always love CF hoods to enhance the looks of a car...

I don't look at the G as a race car so I wouldn't care much about weight on this car, Sound and Appearance on this car!

Suspension, chassis, cams, ECU, brakes... You might not have lost weight but the extra responsiveness helps make your car feel lighter...

One thing that takes tons of weight away is removing all sound deadener/insulation from the doors, floorpan, etc. However, the result will be like driving in a 70's Datsun, for those of you who remember. I am not interested in doing this at all. Hell, I even added sound deadening material to my previous car.

All that gas, oil and water (coolant, etc.) weighs a bunch too....makes the car a bit unrealiable though! ;-)
